Who is the Blonde Bombshell?
It is comical to even type that "title". Let me explain where this came from...
My unbelievably handsome hubby, Josh, has called me the blonde bombshell since we first started dating in 2016. With my short platinum pixie cut I have had for 6 years... this nickname was the first nickname he ever called me. The irony of calling me this is that I often wake up from a nap or a long night's sleep and my hair looks more like I did and all-night break-dancing session with Danny Wood from the New Kids on the Block then it does the "hollywood hair" that Josh so lovingly says he thinks that it looks like. So, the blonde bombshell title began back in 2016 which I have to admit I loved since I have a fondness for Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield and Brigitte Bardot- the true blonde bombshells of this world. So now you know the nickname origin but who is the girl behind the name and why did I create this blog?
My name is Krisdee Clark. I was born in Findlay, Ohio but raised in South Carolina. I like to say I have the best of both worlds with my Midwest hardworking roots that ground me and give me a love for cows in a pasture and spring lambs on a farm and yet being raised in the south I have a southern accent and that "bless your heart" personality that can get you out of anything. I am mom to 2 amazing kiddos, married to my best friend and hunkiest Army reservist this side of the Mason Dixon and a bonus mom to 3 boys... so the 7 of us make up the blended family we work every day to succeed at. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina (GO COCKS!) and blessed to be the Director of Corporate Affairs for the largest hospice in the South East. I am a daughter, a sister, a friend, a lover of Martha's Vineyard and Disney World, the reigning Mrs. American 2022 and...BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR. Which is what brings me to why I created this blog...
